Women's Megillah Reading - March 2004

Many thanks and Yasher Koach to Golda Feig Steinman and Shoshana Kagedan for organizing the 1^st Ottawa wide Women's Megillah Reading here at BSW on Sunday, March 7th. It was a resounding success as approximately 90 women attended from all the shuls in the city. The 16 proud women who learned to read the Megillah are Orly Aaron, Sarah Beutel, Shelli Braun, Leah Cohen, Golda Feig, Ruta Fluxgold, Ruth Fyman, Shoshana Kagedan, Neima Langner, Rose Leimovici, Nava Lightstone, Katherine Moss, Ayala Sher, Sossy Weinman, Minda Wershof, and Roz Wollock.

Also many thanks to the following:

Jackie Luffman and Ruta Fluxgold, who created and distributed posters

Joan Bercovitch who contributed spirits to the kiddush

Kathy Kovacs who sponsored a lovely enhanced kiddush
